At last 6 years after finishing Android Nanodegree and university and many different ups and downs in my life I’ve published my first Android native application on Google Play store. It’s public and available worldwide.
Idea for this app came to me in 2022, but then I’ve only drew UML diagrams and made design with Adobe XD. The main use case of the app is to visualize sound during party events. I imagined that the large group of people could be using this app as a way of collaborative light effect. In the past people used lighters or just phones with white screen on maximum brightness. I’ve decided to push this idea higher by utilising phone sensors – camera and microphone while at the same time providing customization options for screen color, microphone sensitivity and flashlight duration.
